Whale Rock

One of the places I frequented as a youngster, with many hours spent down at Tidal River playing in the water and jumping off the rocks. A magical place full of wonderful memories, shared no doubt by many Victorians.
Layers of textured paint on the rock see it sitting bold and strong and the focus of the artwork. The trees and foliage are dreamlike in the background and the river just laps at the foot of the rocks.
